Murals
A mural can completely change how a space feels. It will bring colour and energy into a room,
give a business somewhere people will want to take photos, or simply just make you ridiculously happy every time you see it.
My murals are hand painted and designed bespoke for each space. I take into account the setting, your colours and how you want it to feel, creating something that belongs there rather than simply being painted onto the wall.
How does it work?
Step 1: GET IN TOUCH
Send me a photograph and measurements of the wall or space you’d like a mural for along with any ideas you already have. If you’re not sure what you’d like that’s not a problem I can help you come up with an idea that works for the setting.
I will then send you a preliminary quote including the amount of painting time I expect the mural to take and a rough estimate for materials.
Step 2: DESIGN PREP
Once you’re happy to proceed we’ll have a more detailed chat about the mural, the setting and any colours you’d like me to use.
If the mural is Bristol based I can come and see the space in person. For projects further afield we can chat over teams.
Step 3: DESIGN
Once we’ve discussed the idea, the design fee outlined in your preliminary quote will be payable.
I’ll then draw a mock-up of your mural showing the proposed colours so you can see how the design will look in its setting. Here you will have the opportunity to make up to two changes to the design. Further changes may require an additional fee.
Step 4: FINAL QUOTE & BOOKING
Once the design is approved I will give you a final quote including my painting time and the exact cost of the materials needed.
A 50% deposit is then payable which will secure your booking. Once received I’ll order all materials and get your mural booked in.
Wall preparation
Your wall will need to be clean, dry and in suitable condition before I begin painting. If preparation work is needed I can discuss the best option with you as part of the quote.
Step 5: THE FUN BIT!
I will paint your mural and you can watch it come together or leave me to it.
I’ll give you an estimated number of days for painting the mural in your quote. If it takes less time than estimated the difference will be taken off your final balance. If it takes longer you won’t pay extra unless the additional time is a direct result of a change to the agreed design.
Step 6: FINISHED
Once your mural is complete and you’re happy with it the remaining 50% balance is payable.
Step 7: ENJOY!
Bask in the joy of your new mural and your very own photo backdrop, should the occasion arise!
Price Guide
Every mural is different so the final price depends on the size, wall finish, design complexity and materials required. As a guide:
This includes me drawing your mural mock up, choosing all the colours and up to two design changes. More detailed designs will have a higher design fee.
As a guide the pink disco ball mural above took me 4.5 days to paint.
This includes paint and any other materials needed for the mural. Where scaffold is required this will also be added to the quote.
I will happy travel to paint murals outside of Bristol. Any travel or accommodation costs required will be added to the final quote.
